Although we're down at half time, the U14 boys playing in tonight's ESFA Cup Final at the Madejski won't let their heads go down... Keep going lads!
Just a couple of hours to kick off at the Madejski Stadium in Reading where the U14 boys are playing in the ESFA Cup Final. Nerves will be jangling, but the team will have fantastic support from the accompanying army of Senior 9s also making the journey to cheer them on.
Excellent work from our U14 cricketers this weekend produced a 70 run victory over The Harrodian. Jack Nemeth made 51 while Nathan Sivanithy took 3 for 9. Well done all.
It was a glorious day yesterday for the PTA May Fair and we thank everyone who came along to support and make the event such a success and, most importantly, our fantastic PTA Committee led by Ms Elaine Bancroft who worked so tirelessly to bring it all together. #IPSMayFair2018 https://t.co/F9jB3RDwin
The Berto brothers - Giovanni and Gianluca - were in superb form in their respective tennis matches against Harrodian opposition this week. Well done to both.
This week saw a great batting partnership between Owen Thornbury, S10 and Oscar Welton, LVI who made a century against KCS. It was a pity that the match was not ultimately won by IPS, but a great effort - particularly from Owen who was facing considerably older opposition.
Wonderful to learn that Senior 8s Alex, Saskia, Scarlett and Matty managed to win 1st prize in the Salters’ Chemistry Festival Challenge held this morning at the University of East London and 2nd prize in the afternoon's University Challenge. Great work - congratulations!
Quite a buzz at School today about the arrival of 80,000 bees last night. Mr Greenwood, Master in charge of Bee Development, reports they have been behiving themselves impeccably so far and seem to be settling in to their new environment very happily.
