Heritage Day

On Monday 20 March, Ibstock celebrated its inaugural Heritage Day.

Pupils and staff wore outfits ranging from traditional clothing to the colours of their flag(s), in celebration of their heritage and the diversity of the Ibstock Place School community.

During lunchtime, ACAAS (the African, Caribbean, Asian and Allies Society) hosted some fun activities including a diverse playlist of music, karaoke, sweet treats, henna and face painting.

There was much excitement around the school and pupils enjoyed the opportunity to share their heritage with their peers.
