Games at Sixth Form
Sport forms a valuable part of life at Ibstock with pupils in Sixth Form continuing to enjoy Sports as part of their Curriculum timetable and Co-Curricular activities.
‘We aim to provide a sporting journey tailored to the individual’.
Tamara Graham, Director of Sport
Games offer pupils the chance to focus of a key team sport for each term and the opportunity to train to a high standard. Many will also compete against schools across the borough and beyond. We aim to instill our Sports values of Respect, Aspiration, Resilience, Active engagement and Enthusiasm through competition and coaching.
Pupils in Sixth Form have 2-hours of Games per week with a choice of games both on and off site. Activities are run by experienced coaches and include Football, Netball, Hockey, Rugby, Cricket, Athletics, American Football, Archery, Cycling, Gym, Les Mills Fitness classes, Judo, Archery, Swimming, Boxing, Yoga, Canoeing, Tennis, Volleyball and Rock Climbing.
