Our co-educational Sixth Form at Ibstock offers a happy and stimulating environment in which pupils are inspired to achieve.
Our Sixth Form is a vibrant community where pupils enjoy a rigorous curriculum alongside a comprehensive co-curricular programme.
Our academic entry criterion is based on (I)GCSE scores, with a minimum of 59 points from your best nine (I)GCSE subject scores, including at least grade 6 in English Language and Mathematics.

We offer a range of open events and small group tours throughout the academic year. Please click on the link below to book your place at one of our admissions events.
BY FRIDAY 13 OCTOBER 2023
To apply for a place you will need to register by clicking on the button below.
For Sixth Form entry in September 2024, you must register by our deadline of Friday 13 October 2023. The fee for registration is £160, which you will be asked to pay upon submission of the form. Please note that this fee is non-refundable.

MONDAY 6 NOVEMBER 2023
All registered applicants will be invited to the assessment day
Applicants will sit a CAT online test assessing Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and English Comprehension as well as take part in a group interview in some of their chosen subjects by the Head of Faculty.
DECEMBER 2023
If you are successful following your assessment, a formal offer of a place will be made. This offer will be conditional upon your GCSE results.
Your offer will be sent by email. You will be asked complete an online acceptance form and pay the acceptance deposit. Our offer of a place will be deemed to have lapsed if it is not formally accepted by the deadline stated in the offer.
If you have applied for a scholarship or a bursary, decisions on these applications will be sent separately.
JANUARY 2024
You will be asked to confirm acceptance of our offer by a deadline stated in the offer letter and pay an acceptance deposit of £1,750.
The deposit is not refundable should the place subsequently be declined, if more than 14 days have elapsed after the acceptance deadline. Your deposit will be returned to you once the pupil has left the School.
All pupils who have accepted offers will be invited back to the School for our Sixth Form Welcome Event.
This informal event is an opportunity to get to know future classmates, the School, and key members of staff.
New Sixth Form pupils are invited to an induction day before the start of term.
This day will help you to familiarise yourself with a new learning environment and Ibsock's facilities, as well as getting to know other pupils and staff.
