The Slightly Scientific Podcast

Oliver (Senior 11) started The Slightly Scientific Podcast from his bedroom during lockdown. Since then, the project has flourished, with eleven published episodes and a team of pupils now producing them from our new Innovation Centre.

From talking vaccines with Dame Sarah Gilbert to uncovering the great mysteries of biochemistry, the aim is to make science fun and accessible while exploring the latest breakthroughs and interviewing experts in the field.

For their latest episode, Oliver and Honor interviewed scientist and author of ‘Missing Microbes’, Dr Martin Blaser. Past episodes have covered fascinating topics such as Forensic Science, Painkillers and Spider Venom, Fungal Vaccines, and Motor Neurone Disease.
