Engage. Explore. Enjoy.

Challenge. Inspiration. Fulfilment.

Children learn when they feel happy, secure, valued and safe. We believe that in a nurturing yet purposeful environment, we help every one of our children achieve her or his true potential both inside and outside the classroom.

Our excellent teachers care deeply about the young people in their care and go the extra mile to ensure lessons are engaging, challenging and enjoyable. Our curriculum is broad and varied; sport, dance and the arts play a considerable part in the holistic education of a child and our pupils are provided with the very best opportunities in which to take part and excel.

Our pupils are delightful; polite, kind, helpful and eager to learn. I see children running excitedly into School in the mornings and many parents report that their children count down the holidays as they cannot wait to be back at School. If we can instil a love of learning into your child, then we feel they are set for life.

We look forward to welcoming you to the IPS family.

The Good Schools Guide says

“Slap bang in the centre of the site, the Prep School feels like a school in its own right, think parents. Pre-Prep, which runs reception to year 1 (gentler transition through EYFS) and Prep (years 2 to 6) have school within a school – smart, well equipped classroom blocks, library, art and ICT space and playground.”

Good Schools Guide 2017

“All this requires – and gets - quality teaching. Old cynics have gone, say parents. In their place, younger enthusiasts (many in 20s) raved about by parents, inspectors, and pupils. ‘Almost exclusively exceptional,’ said one prep parent.”
