Prep 3 Visit to Fishbourne Roman Palace
Prep 3s had a fantastic time at Fishbourne Roman Palace.
Having become experts on Roman history in the classroom, the pupils were ready to see this exciting historical site and understand its significance as a primary source. The pupils took part in a hands-on workshop which offered them a glimpse into life as a Roman, from using a Roman kitchen and grinding flour, to writing their names in Latin and even building a Roman bridge! After the workshop, the pupils explored the world famous Roman mosaics in the North Wing of the Palace, followed by the mediterranean gardens. Many thanks to our parent helpers who helped make the trip such a success!
