Her mother, Mrs Wright, said: “Hard work pays off. A big thank you to all the teachers for being so supportive, especially Mr Walker and Mr Castle. Headmaster Chris Wolsey congratulated our pupils on their achievements, saying:
"I congratulate our Upper Sixth Form Leavers on such a fine set of A-Level grades. Grades like these are only achieved as a consequence of sustained and deliberate application over very many years, and all of the hard work has paid off handsomely. Yet again, nearly 90 percent of our university applicants will be moving onto a Russell Group institution and they do so with a brilliant record of achievement which will give them every confidence to excel on the degree courses which now await. Of course, grades like these also depend on all of those around our candidates – in particular, their parents and their teachers. I congratulate the community as a whole on everything which has been achieved. Our leavers will be very much missed, but we hope that they’ll stay in touch with us – they’ll always be a part of the Ibstock family."
