EDI Ambassadors Explore Black History in the City
On Thursday 1 October, Prep 6 enjoyed a fascinating and memorable visit to the Imperial War Museum.
Throughout the day, the pupils showed tremendous curiosity and interest in everything they saw, asking thoughtful questions and engaging enthusiastically with the exhibits.
A particular highlight was the new Children in War exhibition, which provided a powerful insight into the experiences of young people affected by conflict around the world. The pupils found the exhibition both moving and thought-provoking.
They also took part in an engaging War in Art workshop, using technology to explore artworks in depth and uncover the stories, symbolism and emotions behind each piece. This interactive experience encouraged them to think critically and develop a deeper understanding of the impact of war.
Most importantly, Prep 6 were excellent ambassadors for the school, demonstrating exemplary behaviour, respect and maturity throughout the trip. It was an enjoyable and enriching day for all involved.
