Senior 8 - Senior 10 Football Tour to Lisbon 2025
Our Senior 8 – 10 boys football teams had an amazing time in Portugal!
Landing in Lisbon, pupils headed straight to the Sporting CP Academy — renowned for producing stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo. Players took part in a fast-paced training session led by academy coaches, before enjoying some well-deserved downtime by the pool.
Next stop was the iconic Estádio da Luz, home of SL Benfica, where the group enjoyed a guided tour and training sessions with Benfica’s academy staff. Between matches, pupils made the most of the Lisbon sunshine with beach games, surfing, and plenty of team bonding activities.
On the pitch, the boys displayed true Ibstock spirit — from dramatic late winners for the U14s to an unbeaten run from the U15s. The tour concluded with competitive fixtures against local club Seixal, rounding off a week filled with football, friendship, and unforgettable memories.
