A Visit from the Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP
Last week we had a special visit from one of our former pupils, the Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP. Pupils from ACAAS (African, Caribbean, Asian and Allies Society) and those studying and interested in Politics had the opportunity to speak with him personally over tea and cake. Later, he spoke to a range of our pupils about his career and experiences since leaving Ibstock Place School.
The visit inspired many questions from pupils which covered everything from show jumping to public policy, and was an excellent opportunity for our pupils to gain insights into the world of business and politics.
The Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP said he was delighted to be back at Ibstock and to see the many transformations of the School since he was a pupil here.
